On the evening of May 2, 2018, Bin C. and Zedong Y. conspired to go to Liyang River in Fuling District to fish with electricity. At about 21:00, Bin C. and Chaoyong S. (handled separately) took a car driven by Zedong Y. to Liyuan River. Zedong Y. took the battery, booster, scoop fish and other electric fishing tools in the trunk of the car and took them out on the back for fishing. Bin C. assisted in picking up fish in the bucket on the shore. At 23:35, Bin C. and Zedong Y. were seized by the public security police on the way back and 2.575 kg of aquatic products was seized. It was also found that the fishing ban period in Chongqing's natural waters was from 0:00 on March 1 to 24:00 on June 30 every year. Liyang River was included in the "Chongqing Natural Waters Prohibited Fishing Zone List" as a prohibited fishing zone. Bin C. and Zedong Y. confessed to having illegally caught aquatic products.
