Abstract

On September 05, 2018, Mihindou Désiré is reported to have found a dead elephant during a hunting expedition. He then removed the tusks of the animal and went back to the village. While there he informed his son Beyeme Loudy Agilys and asked to find a buyer. Beyema contacted Ndoungou Chérubin and informed him of his intention to sell elephant trophies. Few days later Ndoungou called Beyeme to put him in contact with a buyer. The latter then left the village to the place of the transaction and when they were about to conclude the transaction they were caught by the judicial police.
