Abstract
On the 12 April 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park organized a routine anti-poaching patrol in the said park and its peripheries. Following this patrol, the elements heard the cries of trapped African parrots and proceeded to arrest the accused persons KOLE Georges, NGOBAKOU Jean Pierre and KENMOGNE Moise in possession of two (2) live African grey parrots. During interrogation, they admitted capturing the parrots as charged and accepted responsibility. After their offence report were established, they were forwarded before the state attorney of the court of First Instance Yokadouma for prosecution.
