The Chief of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Lomie received reliable information on the illegal circulation of ivory trafficking in the town. Based on this, he dispatched this information to his collegues in the neighbouring localities of Mitoum, Payo and Nomedjoh in an effort to arrest the whole trafficking network. Due to this the Chief of Post of Nomedjoh suceeded in arresting a Toyota Hilux vehicule belonging to the Ngoyla Community in which two elephant tusks were found. These ivories were seized and secured at the office of the Chief of Post of Lomie. The accused persons Oum Paul and Owona Max proposed huge sums of money to the agents to get back the seized ivories. They were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
