Abstract
The Accused was arrested at Kaburara in Kasese District and taken to Kasese police and was later transferred to Kampala CPS. The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country (8 pieces of animal skin belonging to a crocodile, Janal cat, survival cat and a colombus). The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Kampala at Buganda Road.
