On 28 November 2000 a consignment arrived at Heathrow from the Cameroons on a Swissair flight via Zurich. The consignor was Mrs Monie and the consignee and importer the appellant. The consignment contained for the most part frozen cassava leaves and indeed that was how the accompanying documents described it.
Sometimes on 24th October, 2007 at Kaponda village within Mpanda District in Rukwa region the accused person was arraigned and found in unlawful possession of government trophies. A charge was brought before the court for accused person to answer. The accused was convicted.
In 2012, the accused MOHAMADOU BELO was arrested flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service with smoked four yellow duiker legs, 4 bush pig legs, 13 smoked black duiker legs, 12 smoked Monkeys, 40 smoked Blue Duikers, 12 Brush-tailed porcupine, and 01 smoked African Palm Civet.
On the 29 April 2016, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve carried out an anti-poaching patrol in the Forest Management Unit of Mpacko (UFA Mpacko). In this regard, they arrested the accused persons, Mvomo Meka and Essiane Pamphille with parts of Chimpanzee, Monkeys, Bay Duikers, Pangolins and other protected animal species.
On the 22 July 2008 during a routine check, the chief of the Forestry and Wildlife Control Post of Mintom, apprehended two persons red-handed Mrs NSAH MEBA & AMVAME Brice Macaire).
On the 27 April 2009, during a routine control at a checkpoint on the Djoum-Mintom road, the Djoum Forestry and Wildlife Control Post agents arrested NNA MINTYA Alain & NSEE Leonard flagrante delicto. They were transporting, three (3) blue Duiker, Bay Duiker parts, two (2) Black-Casqued Wattled Hornbill and two (2) monkeys.
On January 25, 2014, Mondambo Marcel, Megole Freddy, Baneke Golo Francis Igor, Mikossi Mikossi Wilfrid, Bouyengue Martin and Elao Thibault left Moloundou for fishing upstream Dja river.
In March 2019, Lilonzi Makongo Aimé killed six monkeys, totally protected species during a hunting expedition.
In July 2019, Makaya Lobila Rozin was returning from a small hunting expedition with his brother during which they have killed two blue duikers and one monkey. They heard some noises of a heard of monkeys. As they were going to the place where the noise was coming from they came across a gorilla.
